The Teal Tea Foundation, along with the collaborative One Force to Make a Difference, has been awarded the 2011 Zonta Club of Mercer County Grant for “Give Women a Lift.”
The new project will begin January 1, 2012, under the direction of Project Manager Jennifer Herald.
“Give Women A Lift” will assist women who need transportation to and from chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments in 2012. If you can help with referrals, please contact: NJTealTea@aol.com.
CLEANING FOR A REASON
This is an organization which provides FREE housecleaning once a month for 4 months while the person is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up & have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning For A Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire US and currently has 547 partners to help women in treatment. www.cleaningforareason.org
